General Layout

There are Three main parts to this site:

1. Home - where you are right now
2. IFE Cruises - where you'll go to access and upload cruise related materials
3. Calendar - a calendar view that shows you past and future events.

Home - This is where you are right now.  There's not much here today but I'll use this page to post important information related to the site.

IFE Cruises - This is where you will go to read information and access documents, maps and images from IAO's current and past cruises.  Currently within the IFE Cruises folder there is one subfolder, 2007FGB.  This sub folder is empty now but in the next few weeks will be populated with data, images, maps, documents related to IFE and IAO expedition to the Flower Garden Banks in the Gulf of Mexico.

Calendar - This is exactly what you would expect... a calendar.  The calendar is populated with past and upcoming events.

Getting around

There several ways to navigate through this site but for right now start out by using one of the following:

1. The tabs at the top left of the screen.
2. The navigation window on the left side of the page below the tabs.

Navigating the site is much like navigating through files on you own computer.  Everything is in a folder-based hierarchy that you go up and down through.  As you start to dive down into a folder structure, the navigational box on the left will highlight where you are and what folders you traversed to get there.
